    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your role will include:

    • 2D and 3D CAD Design: Utilize software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite to create detailed concept designs and technical drawings.
    • Collaboration with Manufacturers: Work closely with manufacturing providers to ensure that designs can be effectively produced.
    • Prototype Testing and Development: Engage in hands-on testing and development of prototypes to refine and perfect designs.
    • Documentation and Project Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of designs and create comprehensive project reports and plans.
    • Model and Drawing Updates: Regularly update and maintain 3D models and drawings to reflect the latest design changes.
    • MRP System and BOM Creation: Input parts into the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) system and develop Bill of Materials (BOMs).
    • Quality Assurance: Check and verify the accuracy of drawings before final sign-off.
    • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with a small, multi-disciplinary team on a variety of innovative projects.

    • Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar design or mechanical engineering role.
    • Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
    • CAD Expertise: Proficiency in using 2D and 3D CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
    • Manufacturing Background: Experience working within a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
